Orphaned in India, 11 year-old Mary Lennox returns to Yorkshire to live with her embittered, reclusive uncle Archibald and his invalid son Colin. To Kill A Mockingbird

 ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’: Scout, a young girl from a quiet Southern town, is about to experience dramatic events that will affect her for the rest of her life in Victor Valley College Theatre Arts Department’s presentation of the classic “To Kill a Mockingbird.” Based on Harper Lee's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel and adapted for stage by Christopher Sergel, this show is directed by Ed Heaberlin. (Contains adult language and themes which may not be appropriate for all ages.)

Wrightwood Literary Festival Sunday 5th June

 Wrightwood Literary Festival: The festival seeks to foster participation in the arts in and around Wrightwood, and to share the beauty of the San Gabriel Mountains with the broader arts community. Staffed by local artists and volunteers, the festival offers literary readings, workshops, and forums for all ages, set high among the big pines, providing inspiration and a day to create, tell our stories, and experience nature that will have a lasting impact year-round.
When: 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday (open to pre-registered festival registrants only) and Sunday (open to the public)

Cost: Most of Sunday’s events are free
