AAE AFJROTC is hosting a fundraiser at the Barnes and Noble in the Victor Valley Mall.  The dates are November 23 to 28, 2016 which is perfect because Black Friday and Cyber Monday fall between these dates.  Present ID: 12012316 when making a purchase at the cash register or online at and AAE AFJROTC will receive an percentage of your sale. Come out and watch our AFJROTC Special Teams perform at Barnes and Noble Victor Valley Mall on November 23 starting at 10 AM and every two hours after that. 

Holiday Countdown at the San Bernardino County Library

The San Bernardino County Library presents its first ever Holiday Countdown with a cascade of amazing rewards.  From Nov. 1 through Dec. 29, earn an incentive reward for every 30 items checked out. A new reward will be released every two weeks, from colorful drink tumblers to Star Wars key chains. To add to the excitement, there are multiple varieties to earn within each release.  Collect all four drink tumbler colors and match the Yoda key chain with a companion Darth Vader key chain. Don’t miss out because each reward will be available for a limited time only. During this upcoming festive season of activities, the Holiday Countdown keeps the joy of reading front and center.
This event is another opportunity to celebrate and support the Countywide Vision’s literacy campaign, Vision2Read.  Check out 30 items and start earning rewards. There is no limit on how many rewards can be collected but supplies are limited.  Please see the schedule of rewards below.
Nov. 1 – 15: Pez Candy Dispenser, with characters from Frozen, Disney Pixar, Hello Kitty, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

The Secret Garden

Orphaned in India, 11 year-old Mary Lennox returns to Yorkshire to live with her embittered, reclusive uncle Archibald and his invalid son Colin. The estate's many wonders include a magic garden which beckons the children to enter and the spirits from Mary's past who guide her through her new life, dramatizing The Secret Garden's compelling tale of forgiveness and renewal.

To Kill A Mockingbird

 ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’: Scout, a young girl from a quiet Southern town, is about to experience dramatic events that will affect her for the rest of her life in Victor Valley College Theatre Arts Department’s presentation of the classic “To Kill a Mockingbird.” Based on Harper Lee's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel and adapted for stage by Christopher Sergel, this show is directed by Ed Heaberlin. (Contains adult language and themes which may not be appropriate for all ages.)
